Is your everyday life bringing you joy or does it feel like every day is the same and nothing really changes? If you feel like you are in a rut, there are ways to change it so that your everyday life is fun and something you look forward to when you wake up.
Start by taking inventory of where you are at. What are the daily things you are doing that don’t serve you? Are there any daily tasks that don’t make you feel happy or your best? See if you can change or completely get rid of some of those tasks. Obviously if they are work related, you most likely can’t get rid of them. Think about ways that you could do them that could bring you more joy and help you do your job more effectively with more enthusiasm and gratitude.
When we shift to gratitude it helps to change the mindset around what we are doing from negative to more positive. Being and feeling grateful for your job and your current income can help you see your job differently and help you come up with more ways that you can improve your performance and mindset around your work. It can help you succeed in your job further which then can open more opportunities for later.
If you job is something that you absolutely don’t like doing and it’s creating tremendous stress and you feel sick to your stomach about it, then start thinking about what your ideal job/career would look like.
Start looking to see if you can learn a new skill or improve your current skills so that you can move onto a difference job in the near future. Get super clear on what your ideal day would look like and from there start looking for ways to facilitate that kind of day through the work you do and the tasks you complete.
Once you have a clear vision of where you are going, the things you need to do to get there become more enjoyable because you know you are on your way to achieving the life you want to achieve.
You get to decide what that life looks like and design your life around it. Life is way too short to live on someone else’s terms.
Decide what you want, write down your vision and goals and review them daily. Using essential oils such as Frankincense, Sandalwood, Myrrh, Lavender and Blue Lotus can help create a calming environment while thinking and writing down your goals. Rose and Blue lotus are great applied over the heart.
Start your day with reviewing your goals so that you have a clear map in your head as to why you are doing the things you are doing so that you can get to where you want to get to.
Be sure to incorporate hobbies or things that make you feel great and fill your cup daily by taking time for self-care whether it’s taking the time to exercise, read a book, take a long bath, eat a delicious meal, or do a skin care routine.
Doing things that feel good to you and help you honor yourself, your mind and your body, can really help rejuvenate you, which in turn can help you succeed in anything else you want to do. When you prioritize yourself and feeling good in healthy way, you start to feel more joy and enthusiasm and that in return can help you enjoy your every day life more even if it’s boring or you have to do some things you don’t want to do.
You get to decide the life you want to live so don’t let anyone else tell you what you should be doing.
Reflect on what is it that you want, make a list and make a decision to go after it and do it. This is your life, you get to choose what you want and make it happen. Create the life you want to live on your terms. Now go create it and live it the way you want it! You deserve it and it’s yours for the taking!
