You don’t have to sell essential oils if you sign up for a doTERRA Wellness Advocate Account. There are no sales quotas to meet or inventory to carry. Please note that there is a monthly ordering requirement in order to earn income but there are no monthly selling requirements. You get to decide on your terms on how you wish to build your business either part time (with as little as 5 minutes a day) or full-time or just be a casual sharer and share the oils with friends or family while earning free products.

You are not required to sell oils or meet any sales quotas or have any minimum monthly or quarterly sales requirements. Please note that there is a personal monthly ordering requirement however. I had the same question, until I tried doTERRA essential oils myself. Prior to being introduced to doTERRA in 2015, I was very well versed in essential oils and had used them for several years. I had used different brands of oils and none compared to the experience I had with doTERRA oils. I tried some of the doTERRA proprieatry oil blends such a Breathe,  Onguard and Digestzen and was sold immediately. I could literally smell and feel the quality difference compared to the oils I had been using and the best part was the already made blends. I didn’t have to mix my own blends anymroe. Once I discover and experience the difference myself, I switched out all the oils I had in my house. I threw all the oils I had in the trash and replaced everything with doTERRA oils. What I thought were high quality essential oils that I had purchased before, turned out not to be the case. You can test the quality of essential oils by putting a drop of doTERRA essential oil on your hands and wait a moment now try the same with another brand essential oil. You can do this with paper also. Drop a drop of doTERRA lemon essential oil on a paper and another brand essential oil and wait a moment. The doTERRA essential oil will disappear from the paper when the other brand oil will leave residue. The reason there is no residue left of the doTERRA oil is because the quality is so pure. There are no other charges associated with getting your own doTERRA wholesale or Wellness Advocate account. The cost is $35 for the first year and $25 for renewals (optional) and include a free oil of peppermint ($27.33 value). If you choose one of the starter kits, the 1st year account fee is waived! You have the option of taking advantage of the monthly loyalty rewards program (LRP = subscribe and save) which gives you rewards every time you shop.
